Project History

  • Scaling Agility
    Led a cross-functional team of experts in the process of scaling agile practices and values in an enterprise environment.

    This company—which had been practicing agile principles and values in a limited number of scrum teams—decided to scale their agile practices, gain even more flexibility, and learn and adapt even quicker.

    I mentored and facilitated a cross-functional self-organizing team to identify and ensure key enablers for enterprise agility for this program. Several experiments were conducted in terms of team organization, KPI management, leadership, and decision-making mechanisms, which provided valuable insight into key success factors to scale in an agile way. An external agile coach also significantly helped the team in terms of progress on our agile journey.

    Additionally, together with the external agile coach, training in agile and scrum were provided to more than 200 people in the organization.

  • Front-end Development
    Led the implementation of multiple innovative banking services provided over iOS, Android, and web applications.

    A telco provider had invested in the financial services industry by creating first fully online bank in Serbia. This front-end project aimed to deliver a set of innovative digital services on iOS, Android, and web platforms. During this time, I oversaw eight project releases with a team of more than 100 people and all done within a year and a half, I also managed the delivery of several services which were all driven by an omnichannel approach.

    I planned and managed the full project lifecycle together with internal stakeholders as well as the dependent projects and vendors. I also worked with a significant part of the project team working from remote locations in three different countries.

  • Implementation of Lean Six Sigma
    Together with a team, I identified all of the drivers affecting one of the most significant strategic KPI.

    A manufacturing company had identified a need based on an excellence model assessment that its process management improvement capability was vital for its future growth and efficiency. Based on this assessment, the company invested in Lean Six Sigma certifications of key talents across different manufacturing divisions.

    For this program, I led a team of 13 certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belts in the process of identifying all of the drivers across four companies affecting the most critical strategic KPI.

    Based on this assessment, needed changes were identified in terms of processes, business models, or capabilities.

  • Implementation of Logistics Services for a Key Supplier
    Led the introduction of third-party logistics services (warehousing, inventory management, and delivery) to a key supplier.

    An FMCG distributor and logistics company had been providing logistics services to different partners. Then one of the key suppliers demanded additional services in terms of inbound logistics for its goods.

    I led the project which aimed to deliver a transparent overview of the inventory owned by the supplier which was handled according to strict regulations and was fully traceable.

    Additionally, the project had to provide to the supplier the capability of overseeing the reception of the goods as well as the delivery to its distribution partner.

    I also defined the complete processes in the warehouse from hiring the warehouse workers to the system implementation (ERP and WMS) and the procurement of necessary equipment (warehouse racks, handheld terminals, and more).

  • Implementation of Logistics Operations for an HoReCa Channel
    Led the establishment of the full logistics operations for a new HoReCa distribution channel.

    An FMCG distributor had decided to expand its product and channel portfolio into HoReCa (hotels, restaurants, and cafés) distribution channel.

    I led the project which aimed to deliver an end-to-end logistics capability to ensure that the proper products were sourced, delivered to the warehouse, were managed and delivered to the clients within a very strict and short delivery time.

    I also ensured the leasing of a proper warehouse, purchased the necessary equipment, recruited employees, and designed and implemented a software solution which was used to manage the flow of goods.

  • Warehouse Management System Implementation
    Led the implementation of a system which introduced paperless warehouse operations.

    For this project, I worked both as the product owner and project manager for the implementation of a warehouse management system (WMS). The system would be used to manage all of the operations from receiving goods to storage, replenishment, picking, and preparing for dispatching.

    This project encompassed all of the phases from a process redesign to development. This included integrating a new internally developed system with the existing environment, testing, implementation, and training.

    WMS has been incrementally developed over the course of two years in order to address changing needs of product portfolio managed by the distributor (e.g., a food product company needs to be compliant with different standards to ensure that there is full product traceability).
