API Portal Setup

Initiated and managed a multi-team project to set up a portal as a repository with over 500 APIs.

Managed multiple back-end applications with more than 20 developers to set up an API portal as a repository for vendors consuming the APIs. This reduced the turnaround time required for consuming existing APIs involved in the creation of new interfaces for multiple vendors.

Digital Portal Transformation

Led a development team to migrate a customer-interfacing portal to a new platform.

Served as the scrum master and managed a team to migrate a customer portal that was used by agents. The legacy portal provided only mobile capabilities with limited functionalities and required manual intervention for incident handling. It was migrated to an automated converged portal that provided 360 views of customers and included mobile and fixed capabilities.

Flexible Mobile Portfolio

Transitioned a team from a legacy Waterfall mindset to an Agile delivery approach.

Guided stakeholders, the product owner, and the development team to adopt an Agile methodology for delivering a complex, integrated solution involving multiple partners in the ecosystem. The team had around 20 members including designers, developers, and testers.

Consolidation of an IVR

Steered the impact analysis and designed the solution for consolidating two IVR systems with minimal impact on business continuity.

While serving as a business analyst for a converged IVR project, I spearheaded the analysis of how integrating two different interactive voice response (IVR) systems would impact surrounding applications. Then I designed the solution and documented it for implementation, thereby reducing the impact on business continuity.

Adding Fixed Capabilities

Managed multiple vendors of a program related to adding fixed capabilities like TV, wifi, and telephone, to a mobile stack of business support systems (BSS) applications.

Managed around 15 vendors involved in a program, ensuring the timely delivery of all components to the testing and production environments. The program adopted the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) due to the large scale and scope of the applications involved. I created the statement of work for vendors and helped them transition from traditional delivery approaches and onboard to SAFe.

Business Service Layer

Designed and developed a middleware application that acted as a facade for a back-end BSS application suite.

Served as an expert developer to define the architecture of a middleware application. It involved Oracle 11g with an authentication and authorization model for various front-end applications to access the BSS back end. I defined the processes for production readiness and deployment and later upgraded the application to Oracle 12c.

Mobile App and Web Portal

Managed several releases of a mobile app and web portal.

Managed a project, bringing the converged benefits of two different streams (fixed and mobile) for a telecom provider via a mobile app and web portal. After the unification of two different companies, their respective services had to be consolidated to bring one-stop access to all the services for customers. The project also optimized the number of clicks required for a customer to complete an intended action. The easy UI interface to the portal increased customer satisfaction.

Reconciliation of Data

Managed a Waterfall project, from Gate 0 to Gate 5, to deliver a system for reconciling orders created in different applications.

Managed multiple phases of a project, including feasibility analysis, design of a high-level solution, and delivery of the project in production as per the timeline. I tracked all the dependencies among different phases and presented the status of the project to higher management during governance meetings.
