Medical Products eCommerce Website Enhancements

Led team to develop new features for a medical client's eCommerce website, and implemented Scrum.

Led a team of developers, UX designers, copywriters, and business analysts to intake client issues, translate issues into requirements, and implement on their site.
The client's eCommerce site on Shopify included marketing content and the ability for users to purchase products. The Shopify site was highly customized as the client had several unique business requirements. The main enhancements included:
1) The site integrated with a 3rd-party application to ensure users had valid prescriptions before they could purchase any products. The team developed and managed the APIs connecting the two platforms.
2) There were various user types that enabled users to only purchase select items. We worked heavily with the client's customer support team to debug use cases where users could not purchase their desired product.
3) I led the team to identify, scope, and fix a large amount of technical debt left by the previous development firm. These included security updates as client information must be confidential.

Automobile Configuration Tool

Led the end-to-end project for an automotive conglomerate to create an extensive automobile configuration tool.

The client owns several top automotive brands. I led a team to develop a new configuration tool on their existing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform for a specific brand, which could also be leveraged across their other brands.
The feature was to support a highly anticipated new vehicle launch so that users could explore the various wheel, color, interior, exterior, and vehicle add-on options. It required third-party API-integrations to pull vehicle data.
This project involved complex stakeholder management, as each automotive brand has their own marketing team with varying business needs. I also managed a team of designers, business analysts, and developers across the USA, Canada, and India.
We leveraged tools such as InVision for design mock-ups, Confluence for requirements documentation, and Jira for the overall project and tracking.

Health/Fitness eCommerce Transformation Discovery

Led the digital eCommerce transformation of a major health and fitness company's corporate products.

The client wanted to transform their current hard-coded online product sales to a dynamic experience for customers of their corporate products. The functionality for the platform is to enable e-commerce for their customers, in addition to API integration with a legacy payments system, find a location map, ability to for user to manage their account, and complex pricing rules integration.

I led a team of designers, architects, business analysts, and strategists to design and architect this new eCommerce experience.

We shortlisted eCommerce platforms based on their business requirements, designed a custom user-first eCommerce experience based on their requirements, user-tested designs, and drafted high-level user stories as a part of the discovery.

AEM Website Enhancements

Led ongoing website enhancements project for an automotive conglomerate on their Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform.

Led a team of designers, business analytics, architects, and developers to design and develop enhancements for the clients' web platform, which supported multiple automotive brands. Enhancements ranged from branding/UI changes, updates to the site to comply with WCAG 2.0 AA, and new custom AEM components.
As a part of the project, I ran all standard scrum ceremonies (i.e., led daily stand-ups, sprint retrospectives, client demos, sprint planning, and backlog grooming).

Gambling Website Redesign and Replatform

Led team to completely rebuild a website for a Gambling client to be responsive and up to industry standards.

Clients previous website was not mobile responsive and lacked information architecture. Content was outdated and hard to find for users. Clients wanted a refresh of their digital presence to stay competitive in their industry.

I led a team of designers, copy writers, business analysts, and developers to redesign the clients website and implement the website on Wordpress. We created custom components that could be reused on other pages of the site, to easily spin up new marketing pages.

In addition to project management, I also performed the role of a quality analyst and led clients through UAT.
