Project History

vCMTS

Proposed Agile and Scrum methodologies to replace the existing hybrid model; trained the team on Agile, Scrum, and Jira; adapted the Scrum framework; and successfully delivered a release within a quarter.

vCMTS is a virtual cable modem termination system designed and implemented as an economical alternative to the existing physical cable modem termination system (CMTS).

I adapted and transformed a traditional development project into Agile using the Scrum framework. I introduced Jira to the team after years of using Excel to track the development process, assisted the product owner in writing more optimal user stories and maintaining a healthy backlog, and resolved process and project impediments quickly within the team.

SAP – Parts Requisition (SAPPR)

Managed the SoH migration from Oracle DB by coordinating with eighteen upstream and downstream applications; helped the team analyze repeated incidents to reduce above-average incident rates; and reduced the cycle time by 50% over twelve months.

SAPPR was an extensive SAP application in the logistics domain that dealt with sales orders, purchase orders, invoices, and spare parts inventory. All the necessities within logistics and retail network domains and linkages with third-party suppliers and exporters applications were interfaced within the application.

I managed over fourteen SAP developers with specializations in Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP). I facilitated and managed the SoH migration from Oracle to the EC6 system. My timely implementation of brainstorming sessions uncovered business problems and technical debts. The team built Kaizens through a regular focus on continuous improvement areas of the system with my support. I was involved in quarterly end-user and business calls based on requirements, facilitated release planning, and derived high-level estimates.

New Dialogys

Built the test automation framework using Page Object Model (POM) in Protractor, and succeeded in performing end-to-end test automation, including connectivity to the NoSQL database (Mongo DB).

New Dialogys is an after-sales documentation application actively used by all Renault dealers. I led a team of five quality assurance engineers and initiated the build of the application's first automation framework using Protractor. I proposed and rolled out the framework to the entire vertical with a similar technology stack.

Logistics - ALF

Managed end-to-end modernization of a legacy application to the latest technology stack. Successfully migrated ALF to GCP; this was identified as the pilot application to migrate to GCP versus AWS.

Successfully migrated the application to GCP by rewriting and refactoring the code with the latest scripting languages. I managed a team of six FTE with a headcount of eleven team members shared across two applications.

The product owner and I were accountable for the deliverables and the quality of delivery. I executed the technical and GCP migration in a hybrid framework, monitored project progress, set deadlines, and supported the team in achieving our common goal. I acted as a liaison between management, my team, and the interface teams during the entire tenure of the migration. I introduced Jira to the team for effort and progress tracking. I implemented a delegation board to clarify roles and responsibilities and determine the decision owner for each decision area.
