Project History

Decentralized Trading Platform

Took over an existing product and code base. Implemented high quality and industry-standard product development flow and a software development life cycle.

I was involved with a fintech startup nearing its public launch. Working with teams over three time zones, 12 hours apart, I introduced and facilitated crucial product and project management tools and ceremonies to get the project back on track.
The biggest challenge in this was the fact that the project was ongoing for more than two years, with a considerable engineering workforce behind it. I needed to solidity the project and ensure that the engineering team could be downsized. Once this was done, I oversaw the development process and to meet the defined project timelines.

M-Tools

https://www.m-tribes.com/m-tools

Assisted with the planning and delivery of a part of the M-Tools platform.

This project required balancing active development, communication with external partners and tenants, and planning and tracking execution on several system modules for a promising startup in the mobility space.
I developed topics with specialists from four distributed locations, included planning and delivering custom system features to specific tenants, prioritizing and detailing new features that were in the pipeline for the platform, and working on new features of the SaaS platform.
Due to resource and time limitations, we adopted a lean software development approach to match the ever-changing priorities and short and mid-term goals.
I was also involved with non-mobility domain partners, defining a request for the proposal for projects, and acted as a consultant and mediator between the partner and chosen vendor once development started. This included guiding the SDLC and working on refining the product requirements.

AloeCare

https://get.aloecare.com/

Assisted in the launch of the MVP phase, making sure further development and delivery ran seamlessly.

Managed a team of 15-17 embedded software, mobile, and QA engineers, as well as a UI/UX specialist. Closely collaborated with an up-and-coming e-Health startup to get the project from several UI mock-ups and a couple of loosely defined user stories to a functioning MVP, complete with a hardware device prototype and the end-to-end user stories.
I facilitated and conducted the product and SDLC lifecycle, based on scrum. I was responsible for both segments and followed through with all necessary ceremonies and documentation to enable expectation management on one end and efficient development on the other. I made sure all the steps for getting a physical product to market had to be met, and that included (but was not limited to) planning for manufacturing and logistics, finding a vendor for designing packaging and usage manuals, and applying for proper certifications. I coordinated design sprint sessions over two time zones and three distributed locations that helped with loosely defined user interaction flows.

iBet - Online Sports Betting Platform

Assisted in the definition and delivery of a full-stack online sports betting platform.

Managed a team of several developers and helped build a distributed system that was used by multiple end-user applications within the company. Actively worked on developing specific components of a nation-wide used system for one of the biggest regional players in the sports betting industry.
I was also responsible for gathering requirements on a monthly basis and following up with the partners on the ever-changing vision of the product needs. This meant communicating with people with limited technical backgrounds and transferring their day-to-day operational experience into functionalities that had a clear scope and deliverables.
