I managed a 5-member local engineering and QA team, coordinating closely with the HQ development and marketing teams to align technical delivery with regulatory and client-specific requirements. The scope included software and documentation localization, full computer system validation (CSV), and implementation of sample handling workflows, safety and stability testing protocols, test definitions, and comprehensive data traceability.

I directed a large-scale lab automation project for Japan's leading tobacco testing laboratory. I oversaw the integration of diverse analytical instruments and legacy test systems into a unified LIMS platform, replacing an outdated system. Also, I designed and executed a meticulous rollout plan, ensuring zero operational overlap and implementing robust data migration protocols, backups, and validation workflows to support seamless transition. This was one of the industry's 1st successful non-overlapping system swaps, setting a new benchmark for lab digitization.

This initiative focused on launching a new go-to-market strategy for gaming products in the competitive Japanese retail sector. Working across APAC with a core focus on Japan, the project brought together client-side sales and marketing teams, 3rd-party digital subscription service providers, and major retailers such as Yodobashi and Bic Camera. The strategy integrated advanced sales techniques and subscription-based models to modernize customer engagement, enhance in-store activation, and accelerate market penetration. The effort required tight cross-functional coordination, deep market insight, and strategic alignment to local consumer behaviors and retail operations.
