Image Detection Safety System for an Innovative Product

Developed an image detection safety system for an innovative product. The system needed a safety implementation that would shut down when it detected people or packages in the back of the truck, where delivery boxes are stored. This system had to function in low and regular lighting. Once this safety system was triggered, it would have to shut down the whole system.

Senior Developer QA Engineer

I worked for a company based out of Bellevue, Washington, called Xevo. I had to lead in building a team in Detroit, Michigan, for a project with General Motors. I was working on a front-end eCommerce infotainment application (Android). I led the first release of this application to a fleet of production GM vehicles. I led the QA validation effort and signed off on QA from pre-prod, UAT, to the production environment. I was able to successfully deliver four releases, and GM took the product in-house once it was stable. Later, Xevo was acquired by Lear (2022).
