NextGear Capital Enterprise Data Warehouse

Modern Data Warehouse platform and process to support a $4 billion financial services company. The initial sub-project was a broadly scoped revenue data mart, which provides detailed insight into revenue across all aspects of the business. It also supports product decisions including risk-based pricing. Technologies used were SQL Server 2016, SSIS, SSAS, and Tableau.

NextGear Capital Report Modernization

Sunset the IBI WebFOCUS platform, which only supported tabular reporting, and instituted Tableau, SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS 2016 to support the differentiated information needs of our executives, operations teams, sister companies, and third parties. We also revamped the requirements gathering process to better scope the business problem so that devs could implement the correct solution (i.e., dashboards, mobile reports, standard PDF reports, etc...).

IU Health - Client Reporting Standardization

Client reporting had historically been very manual, tedious, and error-prone. To solve these problems, I built a complete data warehouse and reporting solution to automate information collection and reporting so that effort could be spent on commenting and elaborating on the report for our clients.

Purdue - Strategic Plan and Departmental KPI Reporting

The College of Agriculture had a number of initiatives outlined in its strategic plan; however, they had no means to measure success. To solve this, we had to work together to identify objective measures that mapped to each initiative, then collect that information from the disparate systems that housed this data across the university. Then I developed processes to extract and bring this data together so that automated reports could be built and provided for data-driven decisions.
