Created a content metadata catalog for a media company. I developed the process to ensure that the metadata information is available from all sources and to maintain a uniform catalog. The media content metadata files are received from international and domestic sources. The same asset may have a different ID for domestic and international use, so the catalog will generate a unique ID which will then be used to stream on the platform.

Cloud Migration

Worked on migrating Oracle legacy components to Snowflake using AWS Glue. Involved in converting Perl-related scripts to AWS Glue and Jobs using Python (Spark API). These jobs were scheduled using the Step function and AWS Lambda. Based on the daily files pushed to Amazon S3 (AWS S3) by the data ingestion team. Analyzed and documented the on-premise process and built the pipeline to execute the same in AWS.

SAP BusinessObjects Data Service (BODS) Jobs Migration

Migrated SAP BusinessObjects Data Service (BODS) jobs to AWS Glue using Python. These jobs were scheduled using the Step function and AWS Lambda. Based on the daily files pushed to Amazon S3 (AWS S3) by the data ingestion team, processing was done. Analyzed SAP BusinessObjects Data Service (BODS). Created a mapping document and built the flow to implement the same in AWS using Python and Snowflake.

Datastage Development

Consolidated report generation for professional customers by fetching data from three different sources: Oracle, Teradata, and AS400. I joined, transformed, and finally used SFTP as a tool for the client-server using Datastage. This weekly report contains the net sales information and related attributes for professional customers.
