  • Developed and maintained the customer on-premise infrastructure using Kubernetes on a single-node deployment. The configuration was done using Ansible.
  • Created and maintained multiple Drupal and WordPress sites using many different Amazon EC2 instances, Docker containers, and ECS. The configuration of EC2 instances was done using Terraform and Ansible.
Technologies: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Kubernetes, CI/CD Pipelines, AWS DevOps, Ansible, GitLab, Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS), Docker, Terraform

DevOps Engineer

2020 - 2022

  • Created and maintained architecture and resources for a fully serverless application in Azure.
  • Developed full E2E CI/CD pipelines for creating the infrastructure and deploying the application code to a Kubernetes cluster deployed in AWS.
  • Mitigated customer application performance issues.
  • Migrated a big company's on-premise infrastructure to Azure. We created Azure landing zones using the best practices of Terraform Cloud and Cloud Adoption Framework.

Migration of a Company Infrastructure to Kubernetes

I migrated the entire company infrastructure from bare cloud instances to a Kubernetes cluster. This involved creating the CI/CD pipelines, with self-contained Docker containers as an artifact, creating Kubernetes clusters for all three environments, deploying monitoring and logging, and ensuring the application is scalable and resilient to failures.

Migration of an Entire Customer Infrastructure to Terraform

I was responsible for migrating the entire customer AWS infrastructure, created manually using Portal, to an IaC in Terraform. The infrastructure consisted of many different AWS services (VPC, EC2, RDS, ElastiCache, IAM, etc.), so we needed to build and utilize many Terraform modules.

Migration of an Infrastructure from On-premise to Azure

Acting as a DevOps Engineer, I was involved in migrating a big company's on-premise infrastructure to Azure. We created Azure landing zones using Terraform Cloud and Cloud Adoption Framework best practices.

Preparing the Largest Streaming Companies for Big Events

I was working with the biggest streaming companies in the world and preparing them for events such as the Olympics, the World Cup, and the Euro Cup. This required validating and tweaking their entire streaming setup and ensuring it could handle the load of millions of users connected at once, with minimum latency and re-buffering.
