LoanDesk

A SQL-Server and .NET standalone application used by the business team to manage its 20,000 loan, $3 billion mortgage loan portfolio. It consolidated over 15 data feeds and allowed the team to manage all loans in a consistent, well-documented manner. I designed and implemented the complex database schema, oversaw the build-out of the import of the feeds into the database and designed the front-end windows and processes. Once LoanDesk was rolled out, I headed up the decision-making in all upgrades and bug fixes.

Executive Sales Dashboard

A Power BI-based reporting suite designed for sales analysis for executives.

PepsiCo is composed of three silos - Pepsi Beverage, Frito Lay, and Quaker Oats. All data for the three is stored differently in various locations. The project was to create Power BI dashboards that showed sales/analytics at the PepsiCo level.

I had multiple roles on the project:

• As a data engineer lead, I designed and implemented a data model that standardized sales, marketing, and promotion data across PepsiCo's business units. I also guided other team members in automating the data model's population and functioned as a data expert on the project.
• As a dashboard designer and developer, I designed and built dashboards using the above data model and Power BI.
• As a techno-functional analyst, I was the primary intermediary between the business units and developers. I worked to understand the business's needs by interviewing people in various roles and examining currently used reports. In conjunction with stakeholders, I designed reports/dashboards incorporating new analytics (given my knowledge of all available data). I also translated new report designs into technical specifications for developers.
