Rockset, Inc.

Worked as the main engineer of their site and enabled Rockset to replace an off-shore development team, which reduced development costs, improved communication efficiency, and improved feature completion time.
Fixed several performance issues that improved the site's desktop Lighthouse score from around 40 to 95+ and SEO from 60 to 90+.
Revamped several parts of the site, improving the look and feel, loading speed, and responsiveness.
Automated the creation of several landing pages and replaced a number of hard-coded content with dynamic content populated from their CMS.

Senior Front-end Engineer

Performed a complete revamp of the application's UI alongside another engineer and a designer. We transitioned the app from an MVP-like design to a professional one aligned with current industry standards.
Created the user onboarding flow and user profile module, a wizard that helped new users complete the sign-up process and profiles, including drag-and-drop upload and image cropping for the profile picture.
Optimized the polling implementation for the chat system and helped transition to a WebSocket implementation while keeping the polling implementation as a backup in case the implementation failed or had issues.
Implemented analytics tracking for all the UI elements of the application.

Created the front end of the initial MVP of the project with the help of another developer. We were in charge of deciding the tech stack and all the initial architectural decisions for the project.
Participated in a migration from Redux to GraphQL, which helped reduce the number of HTTP round-trips made to render a page from as many as eight to one-two GraphQL calls per route.
Contributed to the creation of the payment workflow for Flyer, which enabled the company to start collecting revenue from the project.

A React application for managing invitations and social events that help the host create their personalized flyer (invitation) and allows sharing this flyer to collect the guest list.

I was involved in the initial development of the application, from the first line of code to the moment we started collecting payments on the platform. I was in charge of a large number of front-end tasks across the whole project's codebase.

Marketing Website Revamp and Maintenance

The project is a React-based website used as the main entry point for potential clients. I revamped the site and fixed several deployment, performance, and UI issues. I was the only engineer on this project where I enabled Rockset to replace an offshore engineering team, reducing development costs and improving communication and feature implementation time.
