Worked on a project for NTUA utility company that migrated to S/4HANA on a private cloud with embedded analytics, utilizing a replicated HANA database to avoid affecting online analytical processing (OLAP) performance. I employed the Brownfield approach and the database migration option (DMO) of the Software Update Manager (SUM).

Migration also involved relocating all Java-based NetWeaver Portals from on-premise to the public cloud.

Cooperated with IBM to support the cutover plan for the migration to S/4HANA of the main ECC system and BW to HANA. Prepared the scope for each mock session, expected results, and gap analyses to reduce downtime.

Supported HCL in migrating three separate landscapes from Oracle Platform to HANA in AWS. The main challenge was the custom dataset that could not be migrated using standard SUM/DMO methodology and had to be performed using native Oracle tools.

I supported Avvale with the migration of the main SAP ERP system from on-premise to AWS cloud and updating Oracle to the latest supported version. The customer experienced a failed migration in the past due to data loss (SAP bug) and needs a solid and proven methodology to successfully migrate the environment.

I supported IBM with AmerisourceBergen in analyzing, sizing, purchasing, and deploying new required systems after a recent acquisition. As an architect, I had to analyze the business prerequisites, size the platform, prepare the cost analysis for five years, and propose the future-state ecosystem.

I supported MHP Consulting in upgrading the 3-tier ME/MII environment to the latest level on Netweaver. I redesigned the OS layout and configured a fully integrated HANA cockpit to manage backups of all instances from scratch.

I supported MHP Consulting in designing and deploying the 3-tier stack for Kuiper Aerospace in the protected environment of AWS. The main challenge was to design the target infrastructure correctly to comply with the regulated business and assure security.

I supported Realtech in migrating over 120 instances of SAP ECC, BW, Portal, and APO on multiple Databases (Oracle, DB2) to the private cloud to reduce maintenance. I also migrated an on-premise BW on the HANA instance to the Azure public cloud.

I supported R3D as SAP Architect in designing the roadmap to start a new SAP implementation in SAP Cloud. As-is technical assessment is used to rationalize, uniformly, and blueprint the future-state digitalized business.

Performed Solution Monitor installation and EWA configuration; the target platforms were both traditional databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Sybase) and HANA. I also performed MII installations and management. I installed, patched, upgraded, and maintained various S/4 HANA instances; I also installed, patched, upgraded, and maintained various FIORI instances. I managed and tuned HANA versions.
Governance of multiple customers in a public cloud environment.

I supported SNP in migrating the main SAP ERP system to AWS and upgrading to the latest available release using the SNP console.
The main challenge was reducing the downtime due to the massive volume of the Oracle database.

Performed as a senior SAP Basis Manager, supporting Realtech for high-complexity Unicode migration and SAP release upgrade of the 3-tier SAP landscape on-premise. Engineered the one-band approach that reduced the overall downtime but added complexity.

Performed Unicode conversion, platform migration from HP-UX to Linux, and release upgrade of two complete SAP ERP landscapes (development, quality, and production instances); complete plan, execution, and post support in a private cloud environment.

I supported Realtech in migrating and upgrading several 3-tier SAP product landscapes from IBM Risk technology to Intel. The scope included ERP, PI/PO, CRM, and SAP Portal. Advanced Distribution Monitor tuning to minimize downtime.

FM went into the process of splitting the two business segments (manufacturing and spare parts distribution) into two different business entities. The overall infrastructure needed to slip, migrate to the private cloud and upgrade to the latest release. There were 180 SAP instances and legacy systems.

I have designed the whole process by working with a team of 120 resources. I have personally designed a method to reduce the BDLS transformation phase from 36 hours to 1,5 hours.
