At BraveTheSkies I had the privilege to work on many great sites including Nicce who provide clean, simple, quality, contemporary casual wear designed in East London. This site uses a custom-developed simple-yet-powerful shipping timer to let customers see at a glance when their delivery will arrive. You can see the shipping timer on any of Nicce's product pages.

Manuka Doctor has multiple sites internationally, they sell a wide variety of skincare and honey products throughout the UK and Ireland Holland and Barrett stores and is one of their best-selling brands. For this site, I had to carefully strategize our DevOps process as Manuka Doctor has many Shopify stores all around the world.

LightwaveRF is a home automation company that offers integrated light, heat, power, and security solutions in the Internet of Things space. The company is listed on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange.

Vela is a beautiful flower subscription service built by the parent company of BraveTheSkies. It was built by heavily modifying an existing Shopify theme and contains many advanced customizations, including a bespoke integration with recharge and a custom date picker that integrates with a bespoke app I built to automate and fundamentally improve their shipping process. The bespoke app matched an order's gift message to a shipping label (a process that used to be manual and caused many headaches), this then exports them as a PDF ready to be printed in bulk by an industrial printer.

York Emporium was set up in 2010 to serve the ever-increasing need for roasted coffee and tea in Yorkshire and beyond. This site includes many advanced Shopify theme customizations, such as the dynamic product filter shown on the homepage to help customers quickly find the coffee they want. This site was an absolute joy to build!

Founder Nik Southern started the brand in 2011 after realizing her passion and growing bored of her day job. It used a heavily modified theme with a custom date picker that integrated with their shipping software to streamline their shipping process.

Specialists in streetwear, menswear, and footwear. Established in 1998, The Chimp Store stocks a wide range of respected, global brands. With a diversified offering including skate and streetwear names such as HUF, Carhartt WIP, and Brixton.

Born in Leeds, UK-based streetwear brand INDCSN is considered to be a quiet brand, not revealing too much about themselves, and instead opting to let their clothes speak for themselves and it certainly works. INDCSN offers unique designs on everything from t-shirts, shirts, hats, outerwear, accessories, and more. They feature heavy slogans, wordplay, and pop culture icons. As the brand says… "forget the rest."

Built a time-tracking dashboard that integrated with our time tracking software to show who was working hardest. This sped up time-tracking reports for managers. It was built with a Rails template for quick development while maintaining a beautiful interface.

I assisted in the development of an internal tool name that was built to make site management easier at BraveTheSkies. It gives the company an easy way to download theme configuration files for all our stores and gives us a single access point to do so, removing the need to create private apps for every single store. It uses Rails with the shopify_api gem to interface with our Shopify stores, and react with Shopify's Polaris framework to provide a native-feeling UI.

I created a slack app called "LauraBot" (nicknamed after our project manager) that used our time tracking software's API to relieve her of the pain of doing manual time tracking reports. It used Ruby with the slack API and was hosted on Heroku for quick and easy deployment.
