- Implementation of a Mission Critical High Availability Solution
Implemented a multi-node Veritas cluster managing the billing system of a mobile phone carrier. Given that each hour of downtime represented over $1 million in lost revenue, the project's top priority was to minimize downtime to the bare minimum with a maximum tolerance of three hours for the full implementation. The final tally of 42 minutes of downtime was well below even the most optimistic expectations.
