Unified Self-help Platform for QuickBooks Online
A support system for Intuit's QuickBooks online users to connect with the solutions and support they need for their small business accounting. Users can search their questions and connect with knowledge base articles to quickly get answers. They are also connected to email, chat, and telephone support options. I was a full-stack developer on this project team, creating back-end RESTful APIs in Ruby on Rails and consuming them in the front end using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to provide easy-to-use UI for users to get the support they need.
Online Product Tracking for Manufacturing
A cloud-based product tracking app to track the manufacture of piezoelectric printing heads. As a full-stack developer, I devised a solution to replace stand-alone desktop apps that handled product manufacturing tracking for FUJIFILM Dimatix. I designed and implemented a cloud-based system using ASP.NET, C#, and VB.NET back end interfacing with MS SQL server, with the front end based on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This system allowed manufacturing technicians to document and track product production status easily. Starting as a small project to solve a single problem of product tracking, this project grew over several years to be a mission-critical system replacing over 20 different legacy systems. With the project's rapid expansion, I hired and managed an intern to assist with product development.
