Wuest Dimensions

https://www.wuestdimensions.com/
Wuest Dimensions by Netcetera is a very complex application for managing real estate.

The client, Wuest Partner, is one of the best real-estate companies in Zurich. Its consulting work focuses on the construction and real estate markets as well as spatial and location development.

The project was so enormous and complex, it required a team consisting of a project manager, 3 technical coordinators, 9 front-end developers and me as a UI developer. Managing a team of this size was a successful challenge by itself. Team-members were located in Skopje and Zurich, with frequent meetups on both grounds. Environment and version control: IntelliJ IDEA and Git. We used Scrum and Agile methodologies.

Technologies and libraries used: Angular.js, LESS, KendoUI, Flexbox, UI-Grid.

We built a style guide for defining design elements, components and specifications. Design changes were first tested in the style guide environment, then implemented in the application. The project was initially developed over the course of 3 years, after which change requests and improvements we being implemented.

I could easily say this was one of the most challenging projects I had worked on and it was a pleasure being part of the team in Netcetera.

Employee Online

https://ahnfteol.allocate-cloud.com/EmployeeOnlineHealth/AHNFTLIVE
EmployeeOnline by Allocate enables staff members to view all aspects of their roster in the past, present and as far into the future as the rosters have been published. This includes annual leave, enhanced hours, training days, skills and certificates and their pay records before they receive their paper pay slips from payroll. It also allows users to request duties and time off for future off duties, submit their time-sheets online and log their bank availability.

Two teams worked closely together on the desktop and mobile versions of the app. Most of my work as a UI developer was on the mobile versions. This product replaces legacy products. Initial development time was around 1 year, but new features are constantly added and the product is expanded.

Technologies and libraries used: Ionic, KendoUI, SCSS, React.js. Environment and version control: Visual Studio and Git.

This was a complex and challenging product to work on. It is used by hundreds of thousands of nurses and doctors. I had the pleasure to work together with some amazing people and professionals.

Activity Manager

ActivityManager by Allocate allows you to schedule any clinical activity (e.g. clinics, ward rounds or theater sessions), assigning a lead for that activity (typically a consultant) and other supporting staff such as junior doctors, specialists, nurses, ODPs to ensure that particular clinical activity is delivered to the patient.

I was assigned to work as both a UI developer and designer on this project. The team consisted of product owner, five developers and one QA engineer. In under a year, we managed to develop this amazing product.

Target devices are desktop and tablets. Technologies used: React.js, SCSS, KendoUI, Flexbox. Environment and version control: Visual Studio, Adobe XD, Adobe Illustrator, and Git.

It was a very interesting project to work on, in a team of joyful people.

CodeNgo

CodeNgo by It-Labs is a service for publishing mobile apps. It offers the ability to self-publish to over 30 stores.

This was one of my first projects as an employee in a company. As a UI developer, I was a part of the team together with a product owner and a .Net developer.

The project was built over the course of 1 year.

Technologies and libraries used: Bootstrap, jQuery, CSS. Environment and version control: Visual Studio and TFS.

Park Lakeside Hotel

A static website for a then-newly opened hotel in my beautiful hometown, Ohrid.

Work was done part-time in the course of a few months. The team included 1 web designer (who was also a photographer), .net developer and me as a UI developer.

Technologies and libraries used: Bootstrap, jQuery, .net. Environment and version control: Visual Studio Code and Git.

Inside-it.ch

Inside-it by Netcetera is a responsive website for a small IT magazine based in Zurich, Switzerland.

The team consisted of a project manager, a java developer and myself as a UI developer. The project was done in the course of a few months. Technologies and libraries used: Java, LESS, Bootstrap, jQuery. Environment and version control: IntelliJ IDEA and Tortoise SVN.

The first step was to create a style guide, based on the requirements and design provided by the client. I used Bootstrap framework to define every element, component, grid system, media queries, colors, utility classes, etc. At the same time, java developer prepared the project environment and setup.

The second step was to build the application itself. The Java developer used components from the provided style guide and I implemented the back-end and base structure. In parallel, I was implementing a front-end structure, LESS code, and UX improvements.

The end result was a very happy client and a basket of Swiss cheese as a thank-you gift in the Netcetera office.
