Development of the FrancoCrea Website

FrancoCrea is an artisan furniture designer and manufacturer. My role on the project was to work with the designer to achieve great animation and transitions on a WordPress-based website. Since it was a website for a designer, pixel perfection was necessary to mimic the level of precision in the FrancoCrea furniture design.

Lisnic, now a job board, was a platform enabling people to find mentorship from industry-leading business owners.

I was involved in setting up the back-end business logic to handle the relationships between users and the billing system and wiring up all the front-end components into the Next.js and Apollo front-end app.

Development of the Avenue Agency Website

While working at Avenue, I was tasked with building the agency's website in Gatsby and WordPress. In the early days of Gatsby, it was difficult to preview static websites, so I created a solution to hydrate a static Gatsby preview template with WordPress data from the API on the fly.

Development of the Visit Ballarat Website

I worked on a team to help build this content-heavy, static site. I built the back end using WordPress and ACF, while the front end was built in Gatsby. I helped set up the main structure of the site and processed the WordPress API data to be statically rendered. I also integrated the back-end data into Algolia and built the front-end filtering and search components using the Algolia API. I also integrated our in-house hydration system (which I built) to preview content in the React site before it was rendered.
