  • IMRSV's CARA | Emotion Recognition Using Web Cams (Development)

On this project, I worked as a Drupal back-end developer with technology stack of Drupal, LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) Stack, and JavaScript. I also implemented the statistical data storage, statistics graphs, web services for such storage, user authentication, and user access control with OAuth2. I also designed the Drupal stack architecture along with the enterprise architect. This project was particularly challenging, fast-paced, and fun!

CARA was a computer vision platform for gathering analytics data from the real world—aiming at delivering targeted content to help analyze the effectiveness of media and to create amazing interactive experiences.

  • La República | Site Performance Tuning (Development)

La República ( is the second largest news media site in Perú.

My skills on scalability and performance were used to improve the site's response times by collaborating closely with the in-house developer team (about ten people). Both the server architecture and the application required deep debugging and constant monitoring which then translated into faster response times for real users.
