The most amazing...

...thing that I've developed is a custom WordPress theme that turned a network of sites into a network of intranet sites.

    • Developed a custom WordPress theme that would turn a network of websites into a functional, file saving intranet.
    • Built a custom event calendar for storing sensitive events and email notifications.
    • Updated WordPress from 5.2 to 7.1 and repaired all of the deprecated theme functions as the first assignment in this position.

  • WordPress Developer

    2017 - PRESENT
    • Converted a clients’ Weebly site to a self-hosted WordPress website, adding new premium features that they didn’t have before.
    • Built a custom plugin for a client that allowed them to update insurance costs for use in an estimate calculator.
    • Developed a custom plugin for estimating the costs of projects for a project management firm, allowing the client to manipulate data.
Technologies: MySQL, Ajax, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, WordPress, PHP

  • Market Modern Responsive Divi Site (Development)

The client wanted an easy to maintain, plug-and-play style website. So I used the Divi Theme to complete this project. It was a simple landing page site, with links to two different other pages, but focusing on adding a scheduled call to the client’s calendar.

  • Intranet Theme (Development)

I built a custom WordPress theme that would enable a website to act as an intranet site. Users could upload documents, search employees, save personal information pages (uploading a user photo), and search through the custom file directory.

  • Google Map Report (Development)

This project allowed the client to connect to a Google map and display a custom, table layout report. The user would select a date from the date field and submit to have a printable report of the events for that day or selected period displayed on their screen.

  • Custom Event Calendar (Development)

A fully customized calendar that allows users to save events, block out holidays, and even print a daily report of events. Users could opt for an emailed reminder for their saved appointments.

  • Forge Spider Makeover (Development)

Recently I redesigned the Forge Spider company website to make it cleaner and more responsive. I tried to make it very simplistic, yet still informative enough to answer basic questions. Also provided SSL, with site and custom email to match domain.
