Agent Performance Analysis

The client was struggling to get insight into the agents' performance and behavior—how they were booking customers' appointments—and how to track appointments.

Many appointments were being canceled, rescheduled, or changed because the agent wasn't booking the job correctly.

The initial task was to identify the right data source as every business unit used different methods.

Our team had a session with every team working in this area and identified the business and data sources; we built a data mart solution for our reporting by creating the ETL pipelines in Hadoop using Hive.

I designed and developed the reporting layer and handled fact and dimension tables with types 1 and 2. Our final solution was to create the Power BI reports for the business to consume.

Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Solution

While working for one of the largest US-based energy companies, I was involved in a project to develop a SQL Server data warehouse and business intelligence (BI) solution. As part of a larger team, I delivered ETL solutions and BI reports and supported and tuned existing deliveries.

Job Performance Dashboard for Agent and Field Engineers

This project's business requirement was to create Power BI dashboards for the stakeholders to understand the agent performance, field engineer performance, and the process gaps leading to high cancellation and rescheduling of jobs.

I built a datamart on Hadoop, which we used for our reporting layer, and developed the Power BI dashboards on top of it.
