The most amazing... I've built was for Preto Brazilian Steakhouse. It was visually stunning and needed a lot of WordPress customization for the admin and animations.

  • Preto Brazilian Steakhouse

    Brazilian Steakhouse restaurant chain primarily based in London.

    Tasks Accomplished:
    • Developed a Roots/Sage custom WordPress theme.
    • Implemented Advanced Custom Fields to build WordPress administration.
    • Integrated Mailchimp for newsletter sign-ups.
    • Facilitated page loading via Ajax for animated page transitions.
    • Implemented custom hover, scroll and page transition animation using GreenSock.

  • The Language of Flowers

    A Valentine’s Day marketing campaign to promote a new range of fragrances. The custom app allowed users to create a virtual bouquet to be forwarded to a chosen recipient and be revealed on a separate area of the site. This culminated in the company capturing thousands of email sign-ups, in what proved to be in their most successful online initiatives.

    Build and send a virtual bouquet of flowers to your valentine. This custom app allowed users to select three flowers—each with their own meaning to create a virtual bouquet. This would then be emailed to the recipient and revealed on a separate area of the site. This app was part of the most successful Valentine campaign that our client has ever had—capturing thousands of new marketing sign-ups.

    Tasks Accomplished:
    • Developed a 100% custom app using React.
    • Implemented all animations with GreenSock.
    • Integrated the Mailchimp API for data capturing and email delivery.

  • The Female Lead

    The Female Lead is a digital platform and accompanying book that inspires and educates young women across the world by documenting successful females in business. My previous company was commissioned to create a platform that not only showcased the ever-growing collection of interviews but also promoted the Female Lead book, which could be ordered as an educational tool to schools across the UK and USA for free.

    I was responsible for building the entire site and also maintaining it for 18 months after it was launched.

  • The Transmission

    A blog for the automotive enthusiast. It's used to showcase cars and events that Mecum Auctions is involved in and to build a community of car enthusiasts around the brand.

    Tasks Accomplished:
    • Developed a custom Roots/Sage and Bootstrap WordPress theme.
    • Implemented Advanced Custom Fields to build WordPress admin and events.
    • Loaded more content via Ajax instead of standard pagination.
    • Integrated advanced searches and filtering.
    • Embedded the latest Facebook and Instagram posts into the homepage.

  • Mecum Monthly

    Mecum Monthly is the online version of Mecum's monthly magazine. It's used to showcase and promote articles from the magazine.

    Tasks Accomplished:
