This project involved leading the upgrade of Hyperion's EPM from 11.2.10 to 11.2.18 in a clustered environment spanning multiple platforms. I handled the pre-upgrade assessment, conducting a thorough system analysis, including compatibility checks, infrastructure readiness, and impact assessment on integrations with databases, FDMEE, ODI, and external reporting tools. I also devised a comprehensive backup and rollback strategy to minimize downtime and mitigate risks.

I then executed the upgrade, performing in-place upgrades on both Windows and Linux nodes, applying patches, reconfiguring WebLogic, updating database schemas, and ensuring seamless integration with existing applications. Post-upgrade testing involved conducting rigorous functional, performance, and regression testing across planning, Essbase, and reporting modules to confirm data integrity and system performance.

The upgrade was successful as it minimized disruptions in business operations while ensuring a stable, high-performing EPM environment with enhanced security and extended Oracle support.

I successfully led the integration of Cadbury's BI systems with Kraft's by migrating and converting data from Cadbury's systems to Kraft's SAP environment. The project involved installing and configuring Informatica libraries on Kraft's SAP systems and designing and implementing optimized data extraction processes for all Cadbury products to support custom business reporting.

This project involved strong collaboration with IS project teams and key stakeholders to assess system-driven changes, define migration strategies, and align change management efforts. I ensured a seamless data transition, improved reporting accuracy, and minimized business disruptions during the integration.

I led Mondelez's data transition process during its split from Kraft, ensuring a seamless migration of critical business data, including actuals, forecasts, and trade planning, from Kraft to Mondelez systems. I worked closely with the IS project teams to analyze data dependencies, define migration strategies, and implement integration solutions. The project successfully minimized operational disruptions, ensured data accuracy, and enabled Mondelez to establish independent reporting and planning capabilities post-split.
