I partnered with a design agency in London to develop a new online presence for the UKRMP. The UKRMP was used to working with WordPress. I created custom styling and templates within WordPress and then migrated all their existing content across to the new site so that all of the archived content still existed for reference.

I was contracted by a digital agency to build a single page of animated scrolling content. It needed to be lightweight and work on across mobile, desktop, and tablet. Where possible, I used SVGs to ensure elements always look sharp but also load quickly. I created custom JavaScript and CSS alongside animate.css and a jQuery library for the page scrolling. It gets 97% in Google Page Speed.

The Digital Office is a pioneering initiative from the Scottish government. I was the web developer contracted to build their website. I liaised with both the client and the designer to turn Illustrator files into a custom coded site using SASS, HTML5, jQuery, and PHP. It is lightweight and fully responsive.

Downpour is a premium gin from North Uist. Contracted by a design agency. I worked with the designer to help him understand what he could change in the design and what elements were best left as standard. I then added custom CSS and HTML with a custom jQuery age gate.

I was contracted to develop a custom website for Ocean Terminal with a content management system that allowed the client to add/edit stores, events, and new stories. I built the front end using HTML5, SASS, and jQuery. The back end was developed with PHP and MySQL.

I was contracted by Chunk to add the HTML and CSS styling to the CBBC Buzz and CBBC Ownit apps built in Ionic. This involved a large amount of device testing on both Android and IOS.

I was the full-stack developer on this project and built this WordPress site from XD designs. The client's technical vision was to visualize their data in CSV files as a collection of filterable charts and graphs that could also be downloaded as images or data. They needed to be able to update the data themselves as more became available or in case of corrections, and I built a WordPress plugin to allow them to do this. The entire site is content-managed in WordPress, which gives the client full control over all the content.

I was the sole developer on this project. I built a fully editable WordPress site that was translated into three languages using Adobe XD design. The site was aimed at 13-15-year-olds in Asia, so it was built mobile-first, with a focus on making the content very visual.
