WordPress Website for the UK Regenerative Medicine Platform
https://ukrmp.org.ukI partnered with a design agency in London to develop a new online presence for the UKRMP. The UKRMP was used to working with WordPress. I created custom styling and templates within WordPress and then migrated all their existing content across to the new site so that all of the archived content still existed for reference.
Animated Single Page for Netflights
https://www.netflights.com/c/airport-hub/flights/future-of-flying/I was contracted by a digital agency to build a single page of animated scrolling content. It needed to be lightweight and work on across mobile, desktop, and tablet. Where possible, I used SVGs to ensure elements always look sharp but also load quickly. I created custom JavaScript and CSS alongside animate.css and a jQuery library for the page scrolling. It gets 97% in Google Page Speed.
A Custom Website for The Scottish Government
The Digital Office is a pioneering initiative from the Scottish government. I was the web developer contracted to build their website. I liaised with both the client and the designer to turn Illustrator files into a custom coded site using SASS, HTML5, jQuery, and PHP. It is lightweight and fully responsive.
Shopify Website for a Scottish Island Gin
https://www.northuistdistillery.com/Downpour is a premium gin from North Uist. Contracted by a design agency. I worked with the designer to help him understand what he could change in the design and what elements were best left as standard. I then added custom CSS and HTML with a custom jQuery age gate.
Built a Custom Website for a Large Shopping Center
I was contracted to develop a custom website for Ocean Terminal with a content management system that allowed the client to add/edit stores, events, and new stories. I built the front end using HTML5, SASS, and jQuery. The back end was developed with PHP and MySQL.
Performant Animated Website for Anacail
Food tech pioneers Anacail are leading the way in the reduction of food waste. I was contracted by the design agency to build a beautiful website that really showcases their market-leading technology using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTML5 Video.
UI Skinning of CBBC Apps
I was contracted by Chunk to add the HTML and CSS styling to the CBBC Buzz and CBBC Ownit apps built in Ionic. This involved a large amount of device testing on both Android and IOS.
