Vigios

A Rails web app where Brazilian voters can subscribe to emails with updates regarding the recent work of their representatives in Congress. These emails include information such as votes, projects, and news. Currently, I'm rewriting the main features before releasing the website ahead of the upcoming elections.

Virtual Self-driving Car

Currently, I'm training a virtual self-driving car using Keras and Udacity’s self-driving car simulator. I am using a convolutional neural network that takes as its input the pixels from the simulator screen and decides what to do next based on its current state and previous knowledge.

Papramaki

https://github.com/MarcioPorto/papramaki
This is an Android application that I built during my software development class that tracks the spending habits of users. I played the role of project manager, leading our team to deliver functionalities beyond the initial expectations for the project. I also built the API consumed by the Android app using Ruby on Rails.

BlindSight

A finalist project at the Intel Singapore Invent 50 Competition, where our team built glasses that use Intel's RealSense camera to help people who are visually impaired make sense of their environment. I implemented the text reading and object-recognition features using OpenCV and C++.

Distributed Exchange Smart Contract

Currently, I'm working on a Solidity smart contract implementing a simple distributed exchange for ERC20 tokens on the Ethereum blockchain. It will contain a basic functionality such as placing a buy or sell order as well as depositing or withdrawing tokens.
