  • Helicopter Tour Implementation (Development)

Architected and led the implementation of end-to-end tour business automation on the Salesforce platform. From the moment a customer visited the website, to the time they were buying a souvenir photo after the flight, everything from sales, marketing, operations, services, and accounting was handled on the Salesforce platform.

This included building a complex booking engine that would first find the viable seating arrangements based on helicopter specifications and passenger weight by computing the various weight/balance calculations and comparing them to FAA and manufacture regulated boundaries. Then it would take into account various other profitability factors, such as scheduling flights consecutively and selling higher margin spots first.

This implementation include standard sales or service cloud configurations as well as custom development of external sites, internal operations consoles, Android mobile check in app, Heroku-based flight/check in a monitor app, and a point-of-sale system used by the terminal staff.
