  • Developed as part of a small team for the company's core product, an AR content display and guidance application for HoloLens 2 and iOS devices.
  • Developed a parcel delivery app that optimized last-mile delivery by predicting the optimal driving route, suggesting a loading order of packages into the vehicle and keeping track of each parcels location for faster retrieval.
  • Co-developed a factory planning application for windows tablets for a worldwide distribution company to help visualize factory layouts for potential customers.

Virtual Reality Simulation for Human-Robot Interaction

A VR application to simulate a human-robot interaction scenario and validate its realism and immersion. Created with Unity3D and tested with the Oculus Rift, combined with the Leap motion device for simulating haptics. I modeled the study environment after a real room precisely in scale and style and, using inverse kinematics, programmed the movement of the virtual robot to match the real one. A small user study was performed for validation.

Immersive Surgical Teleconsulting Using Virtual and Augmented Reality

A prototype teleconsulting framework using AR and VR. By capturing the data from three Microsoft Kinect devices in real-time, I was able to reconstruct a space and transfer the data over a secure network in an optimal way and display it in a virtual environment for a remote consultant. The remote consultant was then able to provide audio as well as 3D annotation feedback to a person in the reconstructed space, using a Microsoft HoloLens.

Embedded Digital Assistant for Parcel Delivery Optimization

An embedded application that predicts driving routes and optimizes the loading order. I analyzed previous route data, single-handedly created a prediction model, and developed the application using Flutter.
