  • Collaborated with designers to make sure UI components were consistent with mockups.
  • Worked closely with engineers to make sure components were handled to accept the props and data needed to build out the complex UI.

  • Co-managed bimonthly scrum sprints—worked with each developer to come up with a two-week sprint that was feasible for the developers and productive for the company.

I developed and maintained the Redshift blog for Autodesk. I was responsible for front-end development, WordPress integration, and developing bespoke plugins to solve tasks unique to the site. I also developed and maintained APIs to communicate with external applications.

The site gathers over 100,000 visitors a month and has won a few awards for the best editorial/blog.

I was responsbile for the front-end architecture, component design, and data integration. I worked closely with the back-end team to make sure the endpoints were set up to be efficient.

Medium Rapid Prototyping

I was signed on to assist Medium’s design team to rapidly prototype their identification cards to help generate user feedback faster and more consistently. The project lasted six months and supported design directions on a few new features they were planning.

I was responsible for developing an API to bypass their out-of-date internal API, allowing external apps the ability to more easily consume the data.
