Naivya | Misinformation Tracker

A web-based application that allows voters to identify the source of misinformation on the internet. I led the entire development, using Python, React, Neo4j, and PostgresSQL. The application has been used by two gubernatorial candidates in Mexico and one United States senate campaign for early detection of rumors being spread and identification of bots that have been set up to spread false information.

Initial Result: The application identified a network of 100 bots spreading rumors about a client, which was reported to Twitter to be shut down.

The PonyApp | Social Media for Horse Riders

A web, iOS, and Android application that allowed horse riders to manage their schedules, take care of their horses, and share updates. I led the back-end development to convert an existing scheduling application into a social media application for horse lovers, using PHP and React Native. I also hired and managed an iOS engineer to make fundamental changes in a legacy application.

Results: The changes led to a 500% increase in user engagement, especially from inactive users. The application had 3,000 daily users, 60,000 total users, and 4.5 stars on the App Store.

Armaments | Weapons Tracker

A sensor company that attached hardware to weapons to live track statistics about the weapon, such as weapon direction, whether it was firing, and bullets remaining. I architected, implemented, and scaled the entire cloud infrastructure, supporting the live stream sensor data from weapons at a rate of 500 packages per second, using Python, Node.js, and Apache Kafka. I also built dashboards to monitor the sensors using Elasticsearch and Kibana.

Results: The infrastructure I developed allowed the client to scale the number of live stream weapons to 100 on a very limited budget and allowed them to secure another round of funding from the United States Department of Defense.

DealStart | Real Estate Modeling for Any Deal

A web-based application that can analyze any real estate transaction in a singular framework that standardizes calculations, such as IRR, equity, and NPV, and matches you with investors looking to add similar properties to their portfolio. I led the architecture and implementation of the entire tech platform from scratch, using AngularJS, Python, Node.js, and PostgresSQL.

Result: The platform onboarded 50 clients and helped facilitate one real estate transaction within one year of development.
