On-demand Application

Worked on a project that involved integrating the company's existing workspace and conference room booking infrastructure into a wholly new one-time, on-demand payment system and a new mobile application for iOS and Android. The project was intended to maximize empty office space by offering it on demand to users who could book the space via the app.

I acted as the engineering lead on the project and spearheaded the architecture for this new business vertical. I coordinated engineering and architectural decisions within the engineering team as well as with other teams in the organization.

The project required a new payment integration with Stripe to enable on-demand payments and a new infrastructure for communicating with users. The payment integration with Stripe enabled the company to quickly expand the offering to 60+ major cities worldwide by the time I left.
