    Worked with a designer on look and feel. Worked with a back-end engineer to access the data API.

  • Roboto on YouTube (Development)

    Added the Roboto web font to YouTube while ensuring minimum possible UX impact regarding page style and web performance.

    Wrote a design doc to outline steps for experimentation and launching the font. Ran several experiments to test potential performance optimizations. Launched an optimized solution. Communicated best practices with engineers on using the new font.

  • Scale Recipe (React) (Development)

    My wife wanted to keep a personal cookbook so I built her a little WordPress blog where she can post her recipes. I noticed that she was always having to prepare a recipe in a serving size different from the written recipe. To make this easier for her, I wrote a JavaScript application to handle the conversions automatically.

    I recently rewrote the app using React.js.
