Global Salesforce CPQ Implementation

I have been working as a Salesforce CPQ architect with Siemens. This project was initially started with an MVP scope of five countries and now within a span of two years, we have added 80+ countries globally.

My customer is selling the most complex product lines using this new version of quotation management using Salesforce CPQ which includes spare parts, field service, and repair operations across the globe. We have supported a million+ product catalog in Salesforce and a billion spare parts managed in SAP. Our CPQ solution is real-time integrated with SAP product master database.

My role in this project is as a technical solution architect; I am responsible for managing the overall technical architecture of our CPQ solution which is heavily integrated with SAP ERP for order fulfillment. I am happy to announce that we have added more than 1,000 sales representatives within a span of two years, managing quotes reaching millions of USD. It now takes a few days instead of a couple of weeks for the company to present a quote to the customer, which has greatly helped the company register an overall 30% increase in YoY sales.

Partner Portal Using Salesforce Partner Community

I have worked on a partner portal which was completely designed within the Salesforce LEX community using a custom Lightning template. This portal was developed for our registered partners and distributors for helping them easily place fresh orders, request RFPs for their specific requirements, check the status of fulfillment, etc. This portal was also used for them to contact specialized professionals if they need any help post-delivery.

This online portal solution also helped my company to build trust and increase sales.

Salesforce vs. Survey Tool Integration

Built a custom integration application withing Salesforce to close to customer satisfaction surveys for various business processes. This application helped my company to easily add multiple surveys without needing to have custom code deployment as the entire application was working based on the record data.

Business users can easily create configurable data and can quickly go live with the survey close loop. My company was using surveys for customer satisfaction on cases, implementation projects that run for several months or years, and reviewing customer feedback on a quarterly or weekly basis were very important to know and address any ongoing customer dissatisfaction. It helped the business to understand any ongoing issues in a timely manner since the surveys were a closed loop within Salesforce. The business was able to address customer concerns quickly by applying the right resources on time, which ultimately helped my company retain large customers for getting future business.

Within a span of months, we were able to achieve very good customer satisfaction, and the data coming within Salesforce was also used for employee performance management. This application is currently managing 200 surveys.

Sprint Prepaid | SHOP Automation, SLA Activation

This is a new project that I'm involved in, tasked with gathering requirements; making enhancements to the design, development, and testing processes; and maintaining Sprint Prepaid applications. Responsibilities also include documentation and document review, design testing, code review, QA and compliance, support, and deployment. I will be involved with the design and development of microservices on Mule ESB.

NPIP Payment (New Payment Infrastructure Program)

Under NPIP program, we revamped total payments infrastructure for the State of Kuwait. This initiative is referred to as Kuwait National Payments Systems (KNPS) and is mandated to comply with the KNPS regulatory requirements as well as build a bridge for future digitization in the bank.

Payment solution partners support the bank in this initiative and enable the implementation of the new domestic payments management system. It will provide the facility for the bank to connect its back-end systems and channels with the new payment platform for the smooth transmission to the new system. NPIP is a modernized total payment management system that supports all types of payment, internal account transfer and transaction management, and local payments like RTGS, ACH, and mobile payments.

Strongpoint for Salesforce

I worked on Strongpoint for Salesforce for one of my clients in the past to assess various things like reporting on unused fields or unused scripts for comparison of environments to reproduce production issues. Strongpoint provides an out-of-the-box scanner that can scan all metadata present in the Salesforce org. This can also be scheduled to run on a particular day, week, month, etc.

I used Strongpoint to export an object, profile, permission set to do reconciliation of profiles by looking at the permission through an Excel report.

Strongpoint DRD helps understand the entity relationships between various objects in Salesforce.
