The most amazing...

...project I’ve worked on is a political test that accurately predicted user political stance in very small amounts of time by adapting the questions.

The Political Test

http://AirmanEpic.com/politicaltest/newtest.php
A political test I created for a personal project. It cycles through questions to select a good one, eliminates already completed questions, and saves the data to a results sheet in the live version on my website. To run this code, the user needs jQuery and a specific HTML.

A version of the code, which updates a PHP and MySQL database and provides a results sheet, is available at the link.

The Perfect Contact Me

http://airmanepic.com/perfectform/form.html
the Perfect Contact Me was a project I did to help improve people's contact me forms worldwide. Let me explain: Many forms rely entirely on JavaScript to work perfectly. It's great because it doesn't need a page update or refresh to work properly. It's the "standard" but unfortunately, glitches in JavaScript; ad blockers and turning off scripts for protection can render it inoperable. That's why sites need what's called a "Fallback" or a function to make it work even when JavaScript fails. That's what the Perfect Contact Me is. It's a form with a JavaScript primary send mail function with a PHP fallback if that fails. I made it for the internet to experience for free.

Snapback

I was approached for a project by a fellow developer and friend for a project he had an idea for. The idea was a lightweight link sharing website, which could not only facilitate transmission of links from one computer to another, but also allow the user to share them with other users. I pitched a design to him and he agreed, and so I developed the site and the front-end, creating the site you see on the link. However, we worked together to create a back-end, allowing the site to truly function as hoped.

Alacrity

http://airmanepic.com/alacrity/
One thing I noticed was that I had the knowledge and experience to create a dynamic blog, but hadn't done it. This is where Alacrity came from. I came up with a design and a style and implemented them. It uses the powerful Masonry technology, similar to how Pinterest or other card-based sites lay out their content, but it also has the ability to adapt to items of multiple sizes, as demonstrated. The new blog post component (which only I have access to but can be demonstrated) allows you to select an image, upload it, and then adjust how it's displayed on the site. It is adaptive and elegant. Actual blog posts were not the priority here, so it doesn't have much actual content.

UndoBox

https://github.com/AirmanEpic/UndoPad
Another short project, this was an attempt to make use of JQuery CDN to create a "state-like" system, the way React works, in order to create a system which has "history states" that are navigable by the user. The technique is used on text but works on any media that JS can handle, such as images or objects.

Flashcards

http://airmanepic.com/flashcards/createaccount.html
Flashcards is a project I created with the intent to make studying for school easier but it also demonstrates a few back-end and front-end techniques. The system allows you to create, store, edit, and of course study sets of flashcards. You can also choose to take a quiz that's automatically generated using these flash cards. It was a blast and I learned a lot about PHP, prepared statements, and JSON with it.

If you want to test it, I highly recommend using the demo username, "Demo@demo.com" with password "Fakepass" though I ask you don't edit the card deck currently on the account.

Loginbox

http://airmanepic.com/loginbox
This non-working login prototype was based on a "Can you write this UI?" challenge. I created this system from scratch based on the specifications of the online challenge and you can see the results here.

ToDo

http://airmanepic.com/todo/login.html
ToDo was a personal project I made to help users organize their personal tasks. It is designed as a mobile-only webapp but can be used on PC if you want. I intend to make it into an app using Cordova/Phonegap and will sell the app on the app store.
