Heart Rate Analysis in Tableau

This research project involved studying the relationship between external stimulation and changes in heart rate by conducting an experiment using virtual reality (VR). Participants were immersed in a VR horror video while their heart rates were monitored. Through a series of questions, the researchers aimed to analyze how specific stimuli, such as clowns, influenced heart rate spikes.

Notably, the results demonstrated that individuals with a fear of clowns exhibited higher heart rates during the segments of the video featuring clowns, in contrast to those who did not fear clowns. These findings provided valuable insights into the connection between external stimuli, emotional responses, and physiological reactions, specifically related to fear and heart rate fluctuations.

To visualize and analyze the data, Tableau was utilized.
