Applied Entrepreneurship

Prehype's Applied Entrepreneurship is a curriculum to learn how an entrepreneur's skill set can be applied to any skill set. Prehype is a venture development studio in New York City that has taught and co-developed products with major corporations such as Dow Jones, Nike, Diageo, and Carlsberg.

I built two versions of a web application that includes a multi-part application process for prospective participants.

NTWRK

Designed and built an internally shared address book for Union Square Ventures. The purpose was to track which companies the firm was in contact with, without requiring any manual tracking.

The solution exposed when anyone internal had emailed an external email address, but not the content of the message. Email addresses were grouped by company (i.e. website domain).

Built using Google Auth, Tornado, MongoDB, jQuery.

Messaging System for Nomad Health

Architected and implemented an in-app messaging system, which incorporated a multi-part application and credentialing process (a la Airbnb messaging system action history).

Multiple user types could view and write messages. Any other in-app actions (ex. submitting an application, accepting a job, etc.) is viewable inline with message history.
