The client needed to revamp their existing Salesforce marketing cloud implementation, along with new enhancements and functionality. I was the senior marketing cloud consultant and led the team while coordinating all the requirements gathering with the client's on-shore project manager.

I designed and developed all the ‘back-end’ related work items, including AMPScript for the email templates. Configured all the needed attribute group relationships in Contact Builder to utilize contact data-related updates in the journeys. Configured automation-related activities, including SQL, import, email, filtering, and reporting. Created all the journeys, including transactional, post-purchase, promotional, and campaign-related email sends, using REST API, data extension, and automation-based record entries. Managed all the dynamic content scripting in email templates, including interactive forms and cloud pages.

The client had problems handling the data management in their existing Salesforce marketing cloud implementation, along with changes to their existing journeys and data-related automation, especially the SQL query activities, which needed more fields to accommodate value updates in the journeys.

I designed and configured the data extension for the synchronized Salesforce data extensions and the data extension relationship in Contact Builder. I configured the automation for the synchronized data extension and created the journey, and used the contact data for the updated data/information in the journey. I delivered dynamic content and wrote the AMPScript to get the data for the mortgage loan office (MLO) from Salesforce and showed it in the email template.
