I built n8n workflow automations for internal exchange operations, integrated multiple blockchain data sources and exchange APIs, and created structured web-scraping pipelines for operational sources without clean API access, including an AI-agents-adjacent automation stack.

FYX Gateway - Gaming Marketplace Platform

Led end-to-end technical architecture and team building for FYX Gateway, a B2B2C marketplace platform enabling game studios to monetize in-game assets through blockchain ownership. As a technical founder, I validated market opportunities with game studios and designed scalable cloud-native architecture. I built and managed a 12-person engineering team from scratch, implemented microservices architecture with real-time transaction processing, and integrated complex payment/wallet infrastructure. I also collaborated directly with non-technical stakeholders on product vision while securing $6 million in seed funding.

I served as a lead researcher/architect for Aquascan, a graph-based distributed sensing system. I contributed to networks of surface buoys with underwater acoustic/environmental sensors deployed alongside offshore wind-farm infrastructure. This was funded by Portugal's MAR 2030 marine sustainability program.

I founded XARP Reality Labs, a Portuguese physical-AI startup. I built Dressify, smart-mirror hardware deployed in physical retail for try-on and personalization. CryptoFights - Blockchain-integrated Multiplayer Game Platform

I led the development of a cross-platform PVP game on the Bitcoin SV blockchain. I architected the technical stack—C#/Unity client, hand-rolled the BSV wallet, and supported Node.js services. I designed and implemented the on-chain settlement layer for the in-game economy. The platform set BSV transaction-volume records at peak. As a co-founder, I shaped product direction and led the engineering team (around 15 at peak).

Hit n' Run: Highway Demolition

Developed a mobile racing game featured on the Apple App Store, reaching hundreds of thousands of users. I partnered with IronSource's Director of Product to implement a deep analytics infrastructure tracking player behavior, monetization, and retention metrics. I built a comprehensive analytics pipeline monitoring ad performance, IAP conversions, and user engagement patterns. I also implemented an A/B testing framework for optimizing game economy and monetization, resulting in a considerable revenue increase. The game achieved top rankings in its category through data-driven iteration on user experience.

Utappz — High-volume iOS Game Pipeline

I served as the solo developer for Utappz (2013–2016), shipping almost 200 iOS infinite-runner titles single-handedly over around 3 years. EU AI Act Advisory Forum

I was appointed by the European Commission (DG CNECT, AI Office) as an Individual Expert representing CTVC, Portugal's first technology cooperative, on the EU AI Act Advisory Forum. The Forum, established under Article 67 of the EU AI Act, advises the European Commission and Member States on the practical implementation of the AI Act across the EU. I was selected from a competitive public call open to organizations across the EU.
