- Proposed and drove a full rewrite of a legacy backend system after surfacing architectural flaws and undue complexity. The resulting codebase significantly simplified the system, reduced technical debt, and streamlined future development.
- Built an API integration layer fanning client requests to multiple providers and normalizing responses into a unified schema. Designed reusable components for rapid onboarding, backed by robust error handling and observability tooling.
- Extended an graph-based asynchronous workflow engine to support mid-flow editing and selective re-execution from arbitrary nodes.
- Engineered key LLM capabilities across the platform, including a natural-language agent for direct system control, and an automated Slack workflow that synthesizes Sentry alerts and CloudWatch logs to trace failing code and propose remediations.
