Work Experience
WordPress Developer
2024 - 2024
Voro, Inc.
- Architected a custom WordPress theme with 80+ reusable ACF/Gutenberg blocks, giving non-technical staff drag-and-drop control over every page section while enforcing consistent branding, responsive layouts, and a maintainable SCSS build.
- Built and maintained a suite of custom WordPress plugins (the voro-* family) powering agent signups, documents, lead-gen forms, subscriptions, and internal management tools tailored to the brokerage's operations.
- Developed a custom login plugin replacing WordPress defaults with branded login, logout, and password-reset flows plus role-based post-login redirects that route agents to the correct dashboard or signup step.
- Built an internal Agent Recruitment Board, a front-end single-page app with a kanban pipeline, onboarding checklists, team management, and audit logging, giving admins a real-time view of every agent from recruitment to activation.
- Engineered a multi-step agent signup wizard integrating WooCommerce subscription checkout with Monday.com, Mailchimp, and PandaDoc APIs to automate CRM pipeline updates, email sync, and e-signature of onboarding agreements.
- Developed an IDX/MLS listings plugin that ingests property feeds and offloads media to Amazon S3 served via CDN, keeping thousands of listings fast, searchable, and current without bloating site storage.
- Configured Cloudflare (DNS, SSL, caching rules, and firewall/security settings) to accelerate global load times, reduce origin load, and harden the site against malicious traffic.
- Led site-speed optimization via asset minification, lazy-loading, caching, and image/CDN delivery, measurably improving Core Web Vitals and page-load performance across the site.
- Configured company email across Amazon WorkMail, Zoho Mail, and Google Workspace, automating per-agent mailbox provisioning at signup and wiring it into the onboarding flow for hands-off account creation.
- Migrated and transferred user email accounts between providers (Amazon WorkMail to Zoho Mail / Google Workspace), consolidating domains, preserving mailboxes, and updating DNS/MX records with zero disruption to agents.
Technologies: WordPress, WooCommerce, Stripe, Monday.com, Mailchimp, AWS WorkMail, Amazon S3 (AWS S3), Amazon CloudFront CDN, IDX, IDX Integration, PandaDoc, APIs
