Anesh is a front-end-heavy full-stack engineer with 11 years years of experience in fintech infrastructure, most recently at Wingspan, a US payroll and payments platform for independent contractors. He scaled a bulk payroll upload pipeline to process 100,000+ row files in 20 minutes, built a fraud-verification system for incoming payments, and developed AI agents with n8n and Claude for payment debugging. Anesh's core stack is React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and gRPC on GCP.

The most amazing...
...thing I've built is an AI agent with n8n and Claude to autonomously debug critical payment issues, cutting resolution time for Wingspan's engineering team.
Work Experience
Senior Full-stack Engineer
Wingspan Networks
- Built an incoming payments verification system to detect and control fraudulent transactions, improving fraud prevention and operational visibility for finance and operations teams.
- Led Core Web Vitals optimization for the Wingspan platform, improving LCP by 40% and reducing CLS to under 0.1 through code splitting and lazy loading.
- Implemented a critical alerts system that automatically paged relevant teams, cutting response time for high-severity production incidents.
- Built production AI agents using n8n and Claude to autonomously debug critical payment processing issues, reducing time-to-resolution for the engineering team.
- Developed an internal portal for support and operations teams to empower them and increase their efficiency to reduce the dependency on the engineering team and reduce the customer turnaround times, improving SLAs.
- Automated adding new tools to the internal portal using Claude skills.
Full-stack Engineer
Wingspan Networks
- Owned the payer invoicing configuration project end to end, from system design through deployment, for Wingspan's major enterprise clients.
- Scaled bulk payables and contractor onboarding to handle 100,000+ row files, cutting processing time to 20 minutes for large enterprise clients.
- Implemented the notifications microservice end to end and integrated it with other services via gRPC.
- Automated internal library releases and set up a Storybook style guide, saving 15-20 hours per month in developer overhead.
- Implemented 1,099 tax filing flows, enabling payroll clients to automate contractor tax documentation and filing.
- Contributed reusable components to Wingspan's internal component library, speeding up feature development.
Lead Software Engineer
CyberEye
- Led a front-end team in architecting mobile applications and websites, and owned all stages of the SDLC: sprint planning, execution, and delivery.
- Drove architecture discussions on front-end practices, introducing Clean Code and Clean Architecture principles and TDD.
- Led proofs-of-concept for migrating ES6 to TypeScript, adopting Apollo GraphQL, and React Hooks.
Senior Software Engineer
CyberEye
- Introduced a services layer in the front-end architecture, enabling fully testable data storage classes decoupled from back-end REST APIs.
- Owned performance profiling and optimization for web apps and marketing websites.
- Configured CI/CD pipelines for web and mobile applications, and built developer productivity plugins for Atom/VS Code.
Software Engineer
CyberEye
- Built responsive, cross-browser web applications and cross-platform mobile applications.
- Developed UI components, integrated back-end APIs, handled state management, and wrote unit tests.
- Contributed to shadow code reviews, documentation, and bug fixes.
Experience
Scaling a Payroll Bulk Upload Pipeline to 100,000+ Rows in 20 Minutes
I owned this solo end to end. I migrated the pipeline from Flatfile Portal 2.0 to Flatfile Platform, removing the browser dependency. For concurrency, I used Flatfile's multi-part jobs, splitting data into chunks that are processed in parallel with p-map (concurrency: 50) and automatic retries. I added missing database indexes for contractor lookups and a Redis cache to eliminate redundant lookups caused by out-of-order row processing, then tuned back-end autoscaling for the new load.
I rolled this out gradually via an internal feature-flag system, validating with clients across payroll-volume tiers before the full launch and stress-testing up to 500,000 rows in staging.
IMPACT
100,000-row files are now processed in 20 minutes, validated up to 500,000 rows with no degradation, and the client was onboarded with a zero-risk rollout.
AI-powered Internal Portal for Support and Ops Teams
I proposed and built an internal portal to remove this entirely. Team members search for any user or resource by ID, then use purpose-built tools for common requests: submit a form (a user ID and a reason for disabling an account, for example) instead of running a script by hand. I iterated on this over time: added role-based access control so tools are scoped to who should run them, built an approval system where a manager signs off before a request executes, and added AI-agent-backed workflows, where submitting a form triggers an agent to debug the issue, run root cause analysis, and return findings and resolution steps in the portal.
Result: cut engineering's dependency on maintaining these scripts, restricted production database access down to a handful of people with read-only access, and meaningfully reduced customer turnaround times, improving SLAs overall.
Payer Invoicing Configuration System
I owned the payer invoicing configuration system end-to-end, from design through deployment. Clients can configure whether contractors submit their own invoices or the client creates them directly, and add custom guidelines shown to contractors. On line items, clients set predefined values, and enable discounts, late fees with configurable percentages, and expense reimbursement. Beyond line items, clients configure default due dates, a recurring payable frequency, contractor splits, and extras such as requiring a project name, mandatory attachments, or payment reminders. The invoice creation UI renders dynamically per client configuration.
Result: shipped a long-overdue feature that became core to several major clients' workflows, unlocked new business by removing a recurring sales blocker, and gave clients a clear way to reconcile invoices and track contractor payments.
