An operating system kernel built from scratch in C and Assembly as part of my bachelor's thesis. It has various subsystems, e.g., memory management, virtual filesystem, preemptive task scheduler, device drivers, and simple CLI and GUI interfaces.

A low-latency cryptocurrency automated trading application written in C++11 that is capable of recognizing intra-exchange arbitrage opportunities for cryptocurrency exchanges with hundreds of traded pairs. After a trade opportunity is identified, the system sends market orders to use the opportunity. It has optimized decision time on a scale of microseconds.

An emulator for the Zilog Z80 CPU architecture written in C, which supports all documented registers, majority of instructions, memory paging mechanism, as well as featuring command-line debugger and disassembler.

Worked on integrating a financial software system with MetaQuotes trading platforms, namely MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. The MT4 integration was done via Server and Manager APIs plugins, and the MT5 integration via the Gateway API and Manager API.

This is an educational/hobby project: an FPGA design for running Doom (a game initially developed for MS-DOS) on an FPGA (Digilent Arty A7-35T development board). The design uses a MicroBlaze soft processor core and a couple of custom hardware components (implemented in VHDL) for palette decoding and upscaling of frames, as well as a custom HMI controller component for reporting key presses to the CPU via AXI-Lite protocol. The game was ported to a standalone environment in Vitis (i.e., no operating system), which required implementing certain syscalls usually provided by the OS.

A Modbus server implemented in Python that receives values of different voltmeters and updates EV Charging Station parameters (like charger power limits, etc) over OCPP based on the state of the grid and renewable energy sources.
