Performance and Scale Tuning of Red Hat Satellite 6.2 and Red Hat Satellite Capsule Server (2017)
https://access.redhat.com/articles/2626101Part of the testing was performed on AWS EC2 instances. Here are the flavors used for testing:
• Red Hat Satellite: c3.4xlarge
• Red Hat Satellite Capsule Server: c3.4xlarge (but also tested with m4.large, and it worked fine)
My strategic responsibilities included carrying out repo sync tests and performance evaluation of storage media for database workloads. My operational work involved contributing to Ansible playbooks and setting up monitoring tools (collectd, Grafana, Graphite) in the framework.

This repo is used for setting up the infrastructure (satellite installation), an upload manifest, updating the repository, creating the lifecycle environments and capsules, concurrently syncing multiple capsules and repositories from the repository server, and so on. It also provides a way to measure time for tests while capturing resources using collectd.
Qemu Disk I/O: Which Performs Better, Native or Threads? (2015 – 2016)
https://access.redhat.com/articles/2147661LINK
• https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RgKkfrJxR6A&t=683s
QEMU can use two different methods to submit disk I/O requests. The default method, "io=threads," uses a thread pool to submit these requests synchronously, while the alternate method, "io=native," uses a single thread to submit these requests asynchronously. We were curious if the default method provided the best overall throughput, so we tested both under a wide array of storage configurations.

CERN Open Lab Summer Student Program (2013)
This project aimed to add a new feature to CDS through which users could manage their favorite collections on top of existing ones. The work involved adding new features to the WebSearch module so as to achieve the stated objectives.
Later on, another task was to parse user-searched queries so as to provide end-users with a visualized pattern of searches involving globally searched terms or terms popular for a particular collection.
I also participated in CERN Webfest 2013 and won the hackathon in the data visualization category.
