Sales Data Ingestion System
A Laravel application for ingesting data from business partners. I was the lead developer and took a very rough description of our issue and engineered the solution. I talked to the stakeholders to get to a good starting point, and started working on the MVP once I figured that out.
I created an MVP that ingested data from a single source and added it to a Google Sheet for the sales team. Once that was working well, I upgraded the system to make it more robust and automated, with retries and robust error handling.
Another developer joined the project to speed up the integrations. Since the underlying logic was working well, he needed only to create a class to get the data, and the system would handle the rest. The project took two months, and at the end, we saved salespeople 1.5 hours a day of work and made the solution more reliable.

I identified client-side rendering and production JavaScript bundling as the root causes and proposed migrating to a framework that supports HTML pre-rendering. After evaluating options, I selected Next.js with Static Site Generation (SSG) as the best fit.
I built a minimal local prototype, migrated the existing logic and pages, validated all routes, and deployed the new build to production.
