Engineered MyDeal–BigW integration spanning data, sourcing, and fulfillment. I built an Azure Event Hubs-Dataflow-BigQuery pipeline that ingests 2+ million products, transactional events, fulfillment states, and returns. I designed a warehouse enabling real-time seller KPI analytics and quality dashboards.
I implemented an intelligent order-sourcing service (Java, sub-100ms): channel-eligibility filtering → weighted, multi-factor scoring based on capacity, proximity, margin, and SLA → allocation and order splitting logic. I also engineered real-time inventory sync via Azure Event Hubs topics and Redis caching, and implemented optimistic locking to prevent overselling. Redesigned shipping decision table and evaluated fulfillment methods (BigW direct, 3PL, seller fulfillment, pickup).
Finally, I built fulfillment saga orchestration: order → fulfillment channels → async state transitions → tracking aggregation. I backtested the sourcing algorithm against 1 million orders and validated an 8-12% cost reduction. Production outcomes included a 96.5% SLA.

• Capability analysis revealed systemic decoupling: 5 years of misaligned microservices bypassing Hybris, resulting in data drift requiring daily interventions (pricing imports, manual order processing for 10% of orders).
• Designed a strangler approach with a 5-phase decomposition (customer, product, pricing, inventory, order orchestration, payment, fulfillment).
• For the product, pricing, and promotions pilot, I designed a canonical model with commercetools as the primary system (100% product scenarios, 90% pricing, 70% promotions). Remaining business logic implemented as domain services fronting commercetools, exposing unified APIs consumed by all channels.
