Experience

Quizzes App

A full-stack, React, Express.js, and PostgreSQL app. The app was dockerized and was deployed to DigitalOcean along with the database.

It used a folders-and-files structure inspired by clean code and had the configuration for continuous integration in GitLab.

Simple TODO Back-end

https://github.com/cesarrom/simple-todo
A project built with Node.js, Express, Ts.ED, Swagger, Docker, and Raven DB. This project uses a framework that is similar to NestJS. It is a simple CRUD service to manage TODOs.

I implemented a JWT authentication strategy, along with a very simple ODM wrapper around the Raven DB library to easily manage global transactions per each request. It follows some SOA and clean code practices, along with SOLID principles.

Simple SpringBoot Cars CRUD

https://github.com/cesarrom/interview-car-test
The back end is built mainly with PostgresSQL, Spring Boot, and Swagger.

A simple CRUD service to manage an inventory of cars and their different options.

This project follows some SOA and clean architecture practices.

Bowling Parser CLI

https://gitlab.com/cesarrom/bowling-service
A command line tool for bowling games. It is a simple CLI based on Spring Boot that takes in a file and outputs a bowling scoreboard based on that descriptor file.

It follows some clean code practices and SOLID principles.

AW Calendar

https://gitlab.com/aw-calendar/frontend
It is a calendar view, similar to Google Calendar in essence.

• Set the view type on the top right (year, month, date)
• Set a specific date on the top center
• Added a reminder on the top left
• Set the language on the top left

Wherever a user sees a blue circle with a "+" sign, they can click there to add a reminder. Reminders appear in the calendar's corresponding date-time as little boxes where users can click to update information about the reminder. If a user clicks on the trash icon in any reminder box, that reminder will be deleted
if the date box is too small. The reminder will show itself as a colored box. Users can click that colored box to see the reminder box.

This project uses TypeScript, Lint, Husky, Redux, Hooks, functional React components, Material UI, styled-components, ThemeProvider, i18next, Moment.js, Google Maps API, Weather API, and react-google-places-autocomplete.
