Bio

Cody is a full-stack generalist with 12 years of experience in software engineering. His expertise focuses on deep security in Java, TypeScript, Rust, and React/Next.js, noting that the costliest code is code that breaks or is breached. He also specializes in staff augmentation and technical audits and requires no hand-holding. While most senior developers ship features, Cody ships resilient systems and protects clients' data.

Experience

Llama Or Duck?!

"Llama Or Duck?!" was a basic iOS, Android, and BlackBerry 10 game that I developed in my spare time as an undergraduate. The objective was to determine whether a provided picture is a llama or a duck, within a very short timeframe. The game became very popular among high school students and accumulated over 1.2 million installs over its lifetime. Originally written using cocos2dx with C++, and later converted to Corona SDK with Lua.
