Reading is Fundamental Happy Meal App for McDonald's
https://newsindiatimes.com/mcdonalds-usa-to-celebrate-literacy-month-with-popular-childrens-books-in-happy-meals/I built an Android and iOS app for Reading is Fundamental's Happy Meal tie-in with McDonald's. The tie-in toy was a classic children's book with a QR code on the back cover that launched the app store. It could be used to view recommended books based on interests, age, and difficulty, and allow the user to track books read. It was built on AngularJS and used the WordPress API to host the data. I built the WordPress environment that hosted the app data, acted as an admin area for the app features, managed users, and contained the REST API for communications with the app.
