Enterprise EMR Application

Engaged as the lead developer and architect of an enterprise EMR application catering to the infertility industry. It is used by some of the most renowned infertility clinics worldwide.

It involves several integrations with insurance providers, data processing, cleanup, and analysis tasks. One of the key highlights of the application is the custom data analysis dashboard, where a custom program processes and collates data from various heterogeneous sources and pushes it into Elasticsearch, which can be consumed by the dashboard.

Elasticsearch Indexes for Legacy SQL Database

Acted as the lead developer of a project that involved building a custom Elasticsearch index for an existing legacy SQL database. The existing database has over 174 data tables, out of which around 36 were used to create eight useful Elasticsearch indexes. It required devising efficient SQL queries that generate the Elasticsearch portable JSON structures and writing custom ElasticSearch porting scripts in Python and Bash.

REST API to GraphQL Migration

This project involved extending a Symfony and API Platform project with multiple functionalities. It also involved migrating the existing project from Symfony and Rest into Slim 4 and GraphQL. This project involved an extensive understanding of Symfony and Slim's internals like Doctrine ORM, DBAL, Inflectors, Autowiring, DI, Containers, etc. It was a great success and is being taken into production next month.

For KhelNow.com, I fused both traditional and contemporary tech for top-notch performance and growth. The back end hinges on PHP, Laravel, and WordPress, while the front end leverages Next.js for interactive experiences. GraphQL stands central, facilitating efficient data queries. MySQL anchors the database aspect, with Redis enhancing data retrieval speeds. I harnessed AWS's capabilities for platform reliability. Services like EC2 and S3 are pivotal for computing and data storage. By adopting Docker, I achieved consistent deployments across both developmental and operational stages. This well-orchestrated tech ensemble underscores my dedication to crafting efficient and intuitive digital platforms.

AI-based Face Recognition Attendance System

I developed a cutting-edge mobile and web-based Employee Attendance System leveraging Face Recognition for secure, contactless check-ins and check-outs. The back-end REST API was built using FastAPI, integrating state-of-the-art face recognition and detection libraries, including deepface, facenet-pytorch, MTCNN, retina-face, dlib, and OpenCV for robust multi-platform identity verification. The solution features real-time video and image processing, utilizing machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch to ensure high accuracy in face matching. Attendance data seamlessly syncs with the existing attendance management system, enabling efficient workforce tracking. The user interface was implemented with Streamlit for rapid prototyping, enhanced with streamlit-webrtc for real-time webcam support. The overall system is containerized and production-ready with Gunicorn, Uvicorn, and cloud integration via Boto3, offering reliable, scalable, and secure attendance management for enterprises.

E-Billing Dispute Management Back-end API

I developed a robust back end for an E-Billing Dispute Management System using FastAPI, designed to handle dispute submissions, tracking, and resolution workflows efficiently for utility or subscription services. The system provides secure RESTful endpoints for user authentication, dispute ticket creation, status monitoring, and automated notifications, integrating with relational databases through SQLAlchemy for strong data integrity and seamless CRUD operations. Background task orchestration and email alerts were handled via Celery and Redis, while JWT-based authentication ensured data privacy and secure session management. Comprehensive API documentation was automatically generated with Swagger and Redoc. Essential Python technologies and libraries include FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic, Alembic (for migrations), Celery, Redis, python-dotenv, smtplib, and unittest/pytest for thorough testing coverage.

Comprehensive E-health Platform with Remote Device Integrations and Patient Monitoring

The Ruby on Rails back end is the core of the E-Health platform, delivering a secure RESTful API for both patient and provider apps. JSON serialization and responses use ActiveModel Serializers and Jbuilder. Devise handles authentication, with Doorkeeper providing OAuth 2.0 token support.

Pundit manages authorization for role-based access control, and patient data is encrypted with attr_encrypted; all data changes are tracked with PaperTrail for compliance. Background jobs, device data ingestion, and notifications run on Sidekiq and ActiveJob. Multi-tenancy is implemented via Apartment for clinic data segregation. Health data is stored in PostgreSQL. Specialized ETL scripts were developed to load reporting and analytics indexes into ElasticSearch, enabling fast, advanced analytics and real-time dashboards. Sidekiq queues manage ETL jobs and notification workflows.
