Diego is a software engineer who has built production back-end and full-stack systems for clients, including Century 21 CAM Grupo, Augusto Digital, and Oracle. His expertise spans Python, TypeScript, and SQL for real estate, healthcare, and cloud infrastructure. Diego cut contract drafting time from days to under 1 hour by automating the generation of regulated documents at Century 21 CAM Grupo.

The most amazing...
...automation I've built replaced 2 weeks of manual installs with a pipeline that validates Oracle's Big Data Appliance image across all hardware in 2 days.
Work Experience
Software Engineer Technical Lead
Century 21 CAM Grupo
- Led operations and commercial strategy for C21 CAM Grupo in Riviera Nayarit.
- Built an automated contract-generation service for regulated (NOM-247) real estate documents using document templating and MCP servers.
- Deployed and operated a private on-premise LLM inference stack using Apple Silicon, MLX, and Tailscale so confidential client data never leaves the firm's network.
- Designed and shipped a market-intelligence dashboard over MLS transaction data using Python, pandas, and PostgreSQL. Automated cleaning pipelines, anomaly detection, and absorption metrics by micro-market and price segment.
Full-stack Developer
Augusto Digital
- Took over the MVP of a healthcare staffing platform for clinicians and outpatient providers and owned its evolution for 2 years across a React front end, Python/Flask REST back end, PostgreSQL, and AWS. The network grew to 350+ clinicians.
- Implemented and maintained the core assessment flow and patient dashboard in Vue.js for ADHD Online. Fixed long-standing production bugs.
- Worked fully async with a US-based team: scoped tickets, shipped weekly, and owned deploys and production support.
Core Developer
xBacked DAO
- Built the protocol's website and its wallet connection, so users could connect their Algorand wallets and sign transactions directly from the browser.
- Authored developer tutorials published on the Algorand Developer Portal, including a real-time block visualizer (Vue.js, p5.js) and encrypted file sharing on Algorand plus IPFS.
- Co-authored the protocol Litepaper v2.0 and design documents ADR-46 and ADR-47 on leverage limits and collateral safety. ADR-47 prevented a launch that would have diluted collateral.
Software Developer II
Oracle — Big Data Service (OCI)
- Automated reimaging validation for the Oracle Big Data Appliance image across all supported server hardware, cutting each release's validation cycle from 1-2 weeks of manual installs to about 2 days, fully unattended.
- Built image pipelines to migrate on-premise Big Data applications to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure using Python REST services, Docker, TeamCity CI/CD, and Artifactory.
- Served on the global on-call rotation for Severity-1 incidents and performed root-cause analysis on enterprise production outages.
Software Engineer Intern
LIIGH – Cancer Genomics Lab
- Designed and built VCF/Plotein (Vue.js, Node.js), a web application for the clinical interpretation of genomic variants from exome sequencing.
- Enabled users to visualize and prioritize exome variants on protein structures.
- Co-authored the resulting paper in Bioinformatics (Oxford Academic, 2019) with UNAM and the University of Cambridge.
Experience
VCF/Plotein
https://vcfplotein-production.up.railway.appI was the sole developer and a co-author of the resulting paper in Bioinformatics (Oxford University Press, 2019), written with researchers from UNAM and Cambridge. In 2026, I modernized it for how clinical labs need to handle patient data today: raw genomic data never leaves the browser, with multi-gigabyte VCFs streamed and parsed client-side in a Web Worker; the stack moved from Nuxt 2/Vue 2 to Vue 3, Vite, Pinia, and D3 v7; and the UI was redesigned into a single clinical workspace.
Algorand-IPFS — Encrypted File Sharing on Blockchain
https://github.com/redcpp/algorand-ipfs-jsStarting from a public tutorial, I added client-side encryption, a CLI, and an on-chain index: files are encrypted with AES-256 on the user's device, so the storage layer (IPFS) only ever sees ciphertext; the content ID that IPFS returns doubles as an integrity proof; and a zero-value Algorand transaction records it in an immutable, per-account file index for a fraction of a cent. Algorand featured the project on its Developer Portal as a reference solution for developers learning to combine blockchain with decentralized storage, and it is my most-starred public repository. In 2026, I brought it back after its dependencies were sunset (PureStake API shutdown, algosdk v1 to v2, the deprecated ipfs package replaced with a around 100-line Kubo RPC client), because a reference example that no longer runs stops teaching anyone. The live demo is a block-explorer view of the files indexed by the CLI.
Universidades México — University & Degree Directory
https://universidades-mexico.pages.devI built Universidades México as a vocational-guidance tool to fix that: a Django app with a scraper that consolidated SEP records into one database, natural-language search (NLTK) so students could find programs by what they wanted to study, and a map to explore options by state, deployed on DigitalOcean. A server that needs patching and a monthly bill is hard to sustain for a free public service, so in 2026, I rebuilt it to run at zero operating cost: a static Nuxt 3 site on Cloudflare's edge covering 3,467 universities and 27,798 programs. Every university and degree has its own indexable page (approximately 22,000 in total), so a student searching Google lands directly on the program they care about; search is instant and typo-tolerant with no server round-trips; and the map shrank from 26 MB to 73 KB, so it loads well on mobile connections. The build normalizes the SEP data into around 7,500 canonical degree pages, with CI/CD on GitHub Actions and Vitest.
