As a staff iOS engineer at Zimmer Biomet, I architected and developed the MyMobility platform, a mission-critical medical tool that bridges the gap between orthopedic hardware and patient recovery. My primary contribution was the invention and implementation of a patented system—U.S. Patent #12354279—that translates raw sensor telemetry into real-time clinical insights.

Operating within a strict HIPAA-regulated environment, I led the end-to-end development of the native iOS application using UIKit and Swift. I focused on building a highly modular architecture that supported complex data persistence, sub-second performance, and 99.9% crash-free reliability. I also spearheaded the design of a universal branding API to support white-labeling across partner healthcare systems. Beyond implementation, I guided technical discovery and established engineering patterns that accelerated team velocity and ensured compliance with clinical safety standards at every stage of the release lifecycle.

During my tenure at Acorns, I served as a senior iOS engineer, architecting and maintaining core investment and savings features for a user base of millions. Operating within a high-traffic, FINRA-regulated environment, I specialized in building performant, native iOS experiences using UIKit and Swift, ensuring that technical precision and sub-second performance remained non-negotiable for maintaining user trust.

My work involved deep collaboration with product and design teams through a zero-to-one feature lifecycle, from initial discovery and technical scoping to global production release. I managed complex state management and network layers using GraphQL and Segment, while overseeing data-driven growth initiatives through robust A/B testing and feature flagging. My focus was consistently on delivering a 99.9% crash-free experience while scaling modular architecture to support the rapid evolution of the Acorns fintech ecosystem.
